We got our NOA2 today!!! We were approved!!! My fiancee and I are so happy. Earlier today we had quite an emotional Skype call. Missing each other a lot. Spent time in prayer talking to God and then this happened this evening. God is truly great!!! We are so blessed that he has been gracious to us and brought the two of us together. Our story is certainly unique. Both coming out of bad relationships about the same time and ready to give up hope on finding our soulmate and then suddenly we stumble upon each other online and the connection was just so strong that we snowballed from there. To have similar circumstances bring two people together from completely different worlds and walks of life, is nothing short of a miracle and a sign of the greatness of God. This was the part I was most nervous about, the rest should be far less stressful. Will follow up shortly with some questions moving forward but need to get sleep for tonight (if I can sleep. LOL)

The most important thing in the process is patience. Since you did not submit the 1145, your first contact will be your hard copy NOA1. Ours came 10 days after our received date. Once you get your hard copy, it will tell you where your case was sent for processing and you will get your case number. With the case number, you can use the app and the myUCIS website mentioned in this forum to track your case. Hope this helps and good luck. :)

Once you get your NOA1 and case number, you can actually got to the USCIS website and sign up for an account here. Be sure to put in an email address and phone number (I used my fiance's, the petitioner). Once you sign up for an account, you can put in your receipt number (WAC....) and click "add case". It will show up in a chart below, and you can check the box to select it, then below that, click the "E-mail alerts on" and "Mobile alerts on". You'll get an email and text when your case updates.

I hope that helps.
