>>> I was thinking so, because that's our received date too. If that's the case, then the approved ones were actioned crazy fast! :joy:

Just be patient, might be your turn soon. August filers are doing great though...

>>> Hopefully! CSC is rocking the August filers.. I see approvals in just 14 days after NOA1! :star:

When i see those RFE's I go through some serious anxiety!!:huh:

>>> LOL, I know right?! I am on the lookout for an RFE too since we indicated that we met online. *meh*

I sure do hope so, this whole being apart has been pretty rough on both of us and especially for him not being able to be with Mia, our daughter.

We just received our NOA1 hard copy. :)

Congrats!!, We're still waiting for the Hard Copy. We got our eNOA1 the same day you did so hopefully we will get it soon. :clock:

LOL! I am normally a very patient person, but this process is really testing me. I check the case tracker app "n" times a day hoping I will see something different every time I pull down to refresh. :content:

So my receipt number is WAC1590577xxx, these ones below are really really close to mine --

77015: Approved

77056: RFE mailed

77072: RFE mailed

77287: Approved

77292: RFE mailed

I wonder what their receive/notice dates are... :innocent:

Yes, I am also normally a very patient person, but this process is so new and out of my own control that it causes anxiety and makes it difficult to be be patient. But all we can do is hurry up and wait. lol. It can be frustrating checking the status more then once or twice a day. Have to limit that otherwise I'll drive myself nuts.

Hey all!

So excited to see so many new September filers, AND so many processes that are moving along nicely!

This case tracker app has me a little confused. Here's where we're at:

I-129F package mailed to Lewisville Lockbox.

FedEx confirmed delivery.

Email from USCIS stating that "Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS California Service Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) with your Receipt Number WAC15905XXXXX..."

HERE lies my question. Who sends out the RFE's? Do they come from the Lockbox or the CSC? Basically, I'm just wondering if we've passed the potential RFE stage if it's been sent to CSC now.

Sorry for the novel. I hope it makes sense?

Thanks a bunch! :)

CSC sends the RFEs

RFE can be sent at any time as questions/concerns may arise during the full process that CSC does....

Thanks friends! I suppose that makes sense, that they can be sent at any time... I can only hope my obsessive checking and triple checking paid off. Time will tell. :)

Hi guys! I'm new here but I just received my GC today and remembered this website.

Just a tip for new K1 filers - submit every single detail about you and your fiancé. Pictures, chat logs, money transfer receipts, etc. and label properly. We submitted a VERY thick petition complete with post-it labels popping on the side for easy reference of the reviewer and voila, very fast processing. Our petition got approved just 10 days after NOA1.

Good luck to all the new filers! Just stay positive and be patient and keep praying for faster processing!

yay! got our NOA1 yesterday! off to Cali. fingers crossed no RFE's and with all that ive been reading.... need to make sure the NOA2 stays valid even until the point of entry. That poor guy at Toronto Pearson yesterday getting turned away even with a valid visa just because his petition had expired. Gives me nightmares.

Seriously??? I thought the NOA2 validity is only supposed to be for visa application.. Once you already have the visa, you can enter the USA up to the visa validity date. And then once you're in the states already, you have 90 days to get married and *ideally* adjust your status. Oh well...

Anyway, congrats on NOA 1 :) now more anxiety-inducing waiting begins!

The validity and the authorization to enter the US is a two fold process. When your visa is approved and delivered to you there is a validity date based on the date you completed your medical. You have to be on US Soil by that date or get turned away from US Immigration. Second, once you're at the POE, it is still up to the discretion of immigration whether they let you into the country or not. 99.999999% of the time you're allowed entry.

The fellow you are talking about may have had other "issues" and immigration saw the opportunity to send him back.

Once in the country on a K1 visa you have 90 days in which to marry and submit your AOS package. Once your AOS is sent off you are in "a holding position" till you are notified by USCIS and given your GC. If you fail to submit your AOS package then technically you are out of status, BUT some people do not have the money right away to do the AOS so it gets delayed but a few months is not a big deal, but you go 1, 2 or even 3 years beyond that and you will have a "come to Jesus" meeting with the authorities.

:innocent:

Doesn't the app check for you and that is the wonder of the app that there is no need on your part to "check every minute"?
