Hello!

My POE is in 3 days!!! I wanted to confirm that I don't need to fill out another form for the POE. I'll obviously have my sealed envelope, my passport and my a personal packing list and all the boxes labelled (my fiancé and I are driving with his car across) but there's no official form I need to fill out or anything, is there?

Hi all!

I am so excited to announce i got packet 4!! We had delay on getting packet 3, because they requested my fiance's proof of residency . Perhaps this is because he is not Canadian citizen but will be doing his interview in Montreal.

Anyways, I am behind many of you with excited POE dates and pending interviews (mega congrats) but please can you tell me:

(1) It seems I am required to pay $265 before my interview date. I thought others bought cash to the embassy.My cash option still requires that I deposit the cash at a Scotia Bank within 3-5 days of me getting the appt. Is this a completely different thing?

(2) The site only showed me the next available appointment for Montreal/Vancouver, but not a list of dates. Do I have to pay online to then see other dates, or I always have to refresh screen and check site until new date pops up? I want later March interview, but the next available is March 9th. Do I just secure that and wait to see when later dates become available?

October 20th: Biometrics appointment completed [Day 31]

November 30th: Forms 131 and 765 approved [Day 72]

December 3rd: EAD/AP card received in mail [Day 75]

Got approved today! The sleet and freezing rain in Montreal never looked nicer lol. Thanks to everyone for your support on this journey :)

Oh congratulations!! That is so exciting!! I see your wedding date it July 15th! That's awesome. You must feel so relieved! Hope you and fiance can take time to enjoy the accomplishment :0)

I had my interview today and K1 visa granted!!!! So so so SO HAPPY. Can't wait for my passport to arrive. Flying to the US in June (that's the plan) with a dog.
