Ok so I'm very confused now. My Fiance said that the interview went well but the embassy hasn't received the medical paperwork from the dr. in Oslo and was told by the consular he was interviewed by that he is approved as soon as they get the paperwork; however, on the document that they gave him, it says for now not eligible. Is this normal? I haven't seen anyone mention that the document says this. Also, I'm freaking out because our petition is only valid until Feb. 4th, If they don't get the paperwork before then and process it, we're screwed aren't we?

Hey Prystine any news on your case? did your fiance get to talk to the doctors office?

Hey Prystine any news on your case? did your fiance get to talk to the doctors office?

Hey Timmons, yeah he got a response from the Visa Medical dr's office stating that they are still waiting for some test results from a 24hr blood pressure test he had to do from his regular dr's office but they haven't gotten the results. My fiance then got a hold of his regular dr's office and they said that something got messed up with the test, either it wasn't given correctly or something happened to the results because they came back blank and they said they tried to get a hold of him but apparently was calling an old phone number they had on file for him which I find odd considering he has had the same number for the last 6mos and he updated that contact info when he changed his number and they've contacted him on that number when they confirmed his appt. to go do the test initially so I'm a little suspicious that someone just didn't do their job and are now trying to cover their own ###.

So now he was suppose to get a call back from his regular dr directly on friday but he never called so my fiance is going to have to bug the hell out of his dr's office on Monday. Its absolutely asinine that we are having to deal with this but hopefully we can get it fixed this week. The visa medical office said that once they get the results they will send all the paperwork to the embassy the same day the get the info.

Hello!

I have my interview in Montreal on Friday! I've popped over the my country portal to ask this question but no on has answered me yet!

For anyone who has had a successful interview how recent was your petitioners employment letter? We have his pay stubs that are up to date but his employment letter is from October. In the letter it states that he is a permanent full time salaried employee, it has his salary listed and his date of hire.

Are they going to want one that's more recent?

ugh, I really really hate medical dr's and their lack of urgency, especially when they are the ones that messed up. Fiance has to re-do a test but only timeslot available to do so is Thurs. so he scheduled it but we have lost a week of time. We are so close, his visa will be approved once the embassy gets the medical paperwork but the visa medical dr's office can't send the packet until they get these results from his regular dr. sent to them 1st. It's sooooo frustrating.

ugh, I really really hate medical dr's and their lack of urgency, especially when they are the ones that messed up.

At least you found out what the issue was and he has an appointment! :)

it might be to private to ask you about it but whats the missing test about?
