Hello everyone

I had my medical last Monday and Tuesday and I got cleared.. Yayyy super happy cause I can proceed right away!

Then yesterday (Wednesday 11/13) was my interview at the US consulate in Philippines! Haha schedule them close to each other cause I live far.. The interview went smooth, easy breezy! The consul did not even ask for any documents, pictures, nor the I-134.. Just a few questions and told me that everything looks great and says: Congratulations, you are APPROVED!

Wowww! God is so amazing Everything was so fast after the NOA2 and now I'm ready to be with my fiance

Less than 24 hrs and mi love will be here!!!! ❤️

Thanks for responding! I have completed the DS160 form, but I am waiting on packet 3!

I know they want the DS160 receipt form and my fiance's passport photo scanned and emailed.

I don't understand if they want JUST the checklist completed and mailed as well or if they want the information on the checklist.

I would imagine that one can submit the checklist while still waiting on certain forms (ie police certificates etc)

I had everything ready to go, but you just check it off the list as you go...all the things on the list are things you bring with you to the embassy for your interview. You do not have to mail the information to t to them. I have read that many people just scan and send it back in and collect the outstanding items.

I scanned and emailed my list on Packet 3 and got Packet 4 almost immediately and then finished up getting my interview date.

Let me know how it goes but I think you might have to get Packet 3 first. I'm not sure about that as I just waited but it did not take too long. About a week....

No not yet.. I'll wait for the visa packet first and also attend a seminar which is required here in the Philippines.

Ok so I'm very confused now. My Fiance said that the interview went well but the embassy hasn't received the medical paperwork from the dr. in Oslo and was told by the consular he was interviewed by that he is approved as soon as they get the paperwork; however, on the document that they gave him, it says for now not eligible. Is this normal? I haven't seen anyone mention that the document says this. Also, I'm freaking out because our petition is only valid until Feb. 4th, If they don't get the paperwork before then and process it, we're screwed aren't we?

It will be fine! The petition exp is an issue if you don't have interview done by then and generally embassies with automatically extend it out. YOU R APPROVED! YaY ? Just continue to keep in contact by email with the embassy maybe weekly to check if medical received. It will arrive soon. Breath- ??

So I'm very frustrated because this was suppose to have been done already. I feel like we are not approved at all right now and that this whole process could get us denied all because the medical dr's office hasn't sent in the paperwork. Sorry but I'm really freaking out right now about this.

Just scheduled my interview for the 25. January

Hey um i just logged in into my account. When i clicked onto Request for an Interview all i got was this

Your request to schedule an appointment has been received and will be reviewed. You will receive an email once your request is approved.

I thought there would be something like a calendar. was it the same for you?

Each embassy is different so I'm not sure how yours is setup, we didn't have to wait for an email (packet 4) to schedule the interview, it was in the instructions on packet 3 on how to self schedule but that is how the embassy does it for Norway/Sweden/Denmark. Maybe someone else can shed some light on it, but it sounds like the embassy schedules it for you and sends you the date but I could be wrong.

And I really hope we can get the dr's office to send the paperwork asap. He has to wait until morning to call his normal dr. because they were already closed by the time he got a response from the Medical dr's office in oslo. I'm just really disappointed that we are technically not approved right now.

Yes, I checked the ceac tracker and it says "Administrative Processing"
