Thanks for responding! I have completed the DS160 form, but I am waiting on packet 3!

I know they want the DS160 receipt form and my fiance's passport photo scanned and emailed.

I don't understand if they want JUST the checklist completed and mailed as well or if they want the information on the checklist.

I would imagine that one can submit the checklist while still waiting on certain forms (ie police certificates etc)

Hi friends!

I had a question about the paperwork that we have to fill out for the affidavit of support and supporting documents. My fiancé (the petitioner) filled out the I-184 but when he was on the USCIS website he noticed under special instructions this:

"Give the completed form and supporting documents to the immigrant you are sponsoring to file with their Form OF-230 or Form I-485.

If the National Visa Center mailed you this form to complete, please follow the instructions they provided."

Do I have to fill out OF-230 or Form I-485? If so, which one or both? We're both very confused! When I looked them both up they look like they're apart of the AOS paperwork.

Thanks in advance! We don't want to be denied (or have delayed approval) because of one document!

For the K-1 visa: the I-134 should be filled out by petitioner with all necessary financial information requested by your embassy to bring to the interview with you. Yes, the other is for AOS after marriage. Hope this helps answer your question.

Hey Dutch, you may want to check with your country specific thread on that because it depends on whether or not they schedule the interview for you or you do it online yourself. If your embassy has you do it online yourself then you wouldn't get "packet 4"; however, if they schedule it for you and send you a notice of when its been scheduled then that is considered "packet 4". Hope this helps a bit.

Hello!

I'm two weeks out from my interview so I'm double checking all my documents... P4 says I need to bring two passport sized photos.. but do they need to be US sized or your country specific size? It doesn't say!

Also, for the Evidence of support (I-864, Federal individual income tax return for the most recent tax year) is that what the US considers the W2?

Not a dumb question. You can fly into any POE. All depends on you flight.

My fiancé finally got her interview date! Feb 18th! So excited!!

(Dumb Question) I see people talk about a POE(US entry) do they tell you where you can enter the country or are you able to fly in anywhere?

Hello everyone :)

I had my medical last Monday and Tuesday and I got cleared.. Yayyy super happy cause I can proceed right away!

Then yesterday (Wednesday 11/13) was my interview at the US consulate in Philippines! Haha schedule them close to each other cause I live far.. The interview went smooth, easy breezy! :idea: The consul did not even ask for any documents, pictures, nor the I-134.. Just a few questions and told me that everything looks great and says: Congratulations, you are APPROVED! :joy:

Wowww! God is so amazing (L) Everything was so fast after the NOA2 and now I'm ready to be with my fiance :wub:
