When you say "application" are you referring to the DS-160? If you are you can fill that out as soon as you have your MNL# or you can wait and do it after she books her interview date. Either choice has no bearing on anything moving forward except that it needs to be completed by the interview. From your post it sounds as though you are doing all the right steps and have thought through the process. Good Job! :thumbs:

I know!!! We just can't wait to be together. Well, I can use the 30 days too to spend as much time as I can with family and friends. Also to make sure that I'm not leaving anything important behind.

You're lucky it's only a 30day notice. My fiance's work requires a 3mo. notice which he has already had to give because of the long time but its annoying because he has to work until the end of Feb. and we were hoping to have him fly in at the beginning of feb. since his interview is Jan. 14th. but now its looking more like middle of march for us. So 30days isn't much in comparison and it will fly by for you.

Fiance had his medical today and it went well even with a minor hiccup that could have caused some issues but luckily worked out. Apparently they didn't put his appt. on the schedule and the dr. was leaving early today. Luckily my fiance had shown up early to the medical and had his confirmation appt page printed off and with him along with all his other papers so they were able to get him right in. It was only 30mins for an appt. that they had told him would take 1.5 to 2 hrs long. So he was in and out very quickly and no issues with his vaccines so he is good to go. Woohoo!! so glad to have this step done. Next step, the Interview!!!

Em what's ur case status now? Mine says READY after 2 days of receiving the case number. I was wrong about assuming that they received our files by December 9, it was on that date that they assigned us our case number and they forwarded it last Monday :)(L) So happy for the fast updates..

Oh that's amazing Danne! You are speeding through this! I just checked mine, it still says in transit unfortunately. I will check all day today - maybe it takes longer to get to UK!

Maybe mine will be tomorrow Danne because I am one day after you in everything!!

I am the beneficiary originally from UK !!

I will think positive and get my last items ready for it. I just need to get my passport photos done and make copies of everything for London. I am so excited, but also very VERY nervous!!! Have you got everything ready and good to go?
