Today is a holiday in US. USCIS closed today. They will be back at work tomorrow.

Praying you get good news soon!!

Of course ! Well, hopefully Friday. Most people at CSC didn't have to wait more than 2 weeks for their NOA 2 (RFE of not)...

I am the beneficiary originally from UK !!

ROC Timeline:

01.04.19: I-751 Received @ Phoenix

01.09.19: Check Cashed

02.13.19: NOA Received

Congrats to all who got approved! :D <3

Just got my case ready at the Phil embassy today :D...

Now I don't know what I should do next. Should I fill out DS160 first or pay the visa fee?

Hope someone can give me the next steps, I'm so lost right now. @_@

Your next step is here http://dennyeyberg.wix.com/filipino-am-visa#!manila-process-usem/c95x/ Follow the steps and you should not have a problem. The rest of the my website will walk you though all the next steps. Just keep following down the tab and then next tab and next tab so on and so forth. It will take you all the way to citizenship.

I thought you can pay the MRV fee without filling the DS-160 yet? As far as I know you only need to print the applicable U.S. visa application deposit slip and take the printed deposit slip with you to pay the fee. Look: http://manila.usembassy.gov/niv-application.html Step 1 actually is paying the fee and Step 2 is the DS-160 then schedule for interview.. :thumbs:

You can do the DS-160 before or after paying and scheduling the interview, doesn't make an difference.

Do I have to wait for my appointment letter from NVC or am I good to go? I can see that one of the requirements that I need to bring to the interview is that appointment letter.

All the steps for processing through the Philippines is located at my website. Link is in my signature below. There is no waiting once you get your MNL# (case number). Get the embassy letter and start gathering the documents. http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/1178798/feb2015/K1-K2%20Applicant%20Interview%20Preparation%20Instructions%20-%20English%20_February%202015_.pdf

Also, go over to the Philippine sub-forum and ask all the questions you want to the veteran's that have processed through USEM before you. Many of us are there to help. You are in a forum that is nice to bond with others who are starting out but once you get your NOA2 it's best to be in the sub-forum to get answers. Not all Embassy's use the same process or require the same procedures so what works in Haiti or UK may not work in the Philippines.

But, don't leave your friends here as this is a great group of people to know.

Well I just got off the phone with NVC. Spoke with a very nice and very apologetic gentleman who assures me my case came out of AP on 11/20 and should be sent out at any time now. He did say that it was very odd that my status with CEAC never said AP. It has said at NVC for 3 weeks now. He said that was VERY strange. Not sure if I should be worried about that or not. I spoke with a woman Friday who told me the same thing but everyone else I have spoken with has said it is in AP. Guess it depends on who you talk to and how willing to help you they are. So for now, we wait. If it gets sent this week, we should be good for her to interview on the 4th.

So please pray for us my VJ friends and I'm praying for all of you still dealing with your own frustrations. God bless!

I am glad you are staying dialed into and being proactive. Can you imagine if you were processing and didn't have a group like this. OMG you would be waiting for many Christmas' beyond before you would have your visa interview.

Anyways, it good to hear that your getting some movement, little as it may seem.

YAY!!! I have been following you, congrats!!! :)

My K2 and I will go to SLEC for our medical exam next week, Dec 2 and 3. I hope all goes well with you. There maybe a chance that I can meet your lovely fiancee there. :)

Speaking of medical, I have a K2 who will undergo the skin test for TB. It says it's good for 48-72 hours. I take it that going there on a Wednesday is okay -- or I might be wrong?

Wednesday is cutting it a little close. If it were me, I would go on Tuesday.

Does anyone have that link for DHL tracking? Thought I had saved it but I guess not. Lol

.

Go to www.dhl.com click Express then Tracking, then Track by Shipper's Reference, and on this page you add your search information. You change the day and month to what you think your package might have left NVC or call NVC to get the date your package had left NVC in route to Manila then go to the DHL website and enter the following information:

EXAMPLE:

* Shipper´s Reference : EXP 24 MAR 2011A

* Date range for shipment - From: 23 - 03 - 2011

* Date range for shipment - To: 26 - 03 - 2011

Account Number - Leave this blank

Shipment Destination: Manila / Works for any Country

The strongest document is the IRS 1040. Next is paystubs and employer letter. Next is co-sponsor. If you have the first two and you meet the poverty guidelines for your family size then the third is not needed nor do you need to bring it "just in case". It's a waste of time as you will be approved on the first two and three will never be asked.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for this. The only problem I am majorly concerned about is the fact my fiancé is getting out the military and by the time I have my interview, he wont have a job he will be on VA money and then he will get a job but when we don't know?!

As long as you can produce documents that say he is employed at the time of the interview then you should not have a problem getting approved. BUT during the interview, if you are asked questions about his employment and future employment, whether with the military or civilian, you are obligated to answer truthfully. The key here is employed at the interview. Not what will happen afterwards which you should not volunteer during your interview. Just be quiet on that subject and answer the questions that you are facing in front of the CO.

OK thanks again. So, if my interview is after 12/04 (which is when he is out the military and back in USA) then I might need co-sponsor? He earned over $30k so is above poverty line but I just need to know if they will be happy with that even if he is getting out?
