Hello everyone!!

I'm a fresh September filer as we mailed our packet last Friday and it got delivered to Texas today :joy:

With your help, I found out that every forms were being rerouted to Cali! That's awesome!!

We did not expected to have the NOA2 before December... We'll have to adjust I guess!

Good to find some supports!

We did our I-129F application by ourselves, and I'm the beneficiary from Paris, France and he his from NY.

Oh and yeah, I'm also OCD about the paperworks  I had to send my fiancé two Fedex packages to make sure that everything was perfect!

Good luck to everyone!

Marie

Hello Everyone. Chuck and Rosana here and I'm Chuck, the petitioner. Sent our I-129f on the 15th and it arrived via USPS on the 17th to the Dallas Lockbox. No other news as of yet but from what I've read here I'm very hopeful that it will be any day now.

We are very excited to have begun the process and are hoping to be together before Valentine's Day.

Praying everything goes smoothly and quickly for us all and looking forward to following your journeys!

Hi Chuck and Rosana and welcome to the September filers. Your journey has just begun and we look forward to traveling with you through your visa journey. If you have questions, just ask away, a lot of helpful folks here.

Your processing through the Philippines and I'd like to lend a hand with your journey. I created a website to help those K-1's processing through Manila, and it walks you step by step through each step of the process in Philippines. What documents you need and for whom and where to get the forms that you will be submitting. I include most of the "gotchas" helping you avoid the RFE's.

Just select the link below in my signature block at the twisting arrow. The website is FREE and you will gain a lot of knowledge that will help relive some of the stress. Return back here or send me a PM if you need help.

Also, one more thing, there are two tools that you should have, the smartphone app and the myUCIS web page portal for updates and updating. Everything again is free and the links are below also.

Glad to have you.

Okay, so... I decided to play with the Case Tracker app and I did a search of the following receipt numbers:

WAC1590100000

WAC1590150000

WAC1590300000

WAC1590350000

And I set the the "count" to 300, and there are actually a number of (I-129F) petitions that were already APPROVED! Some were rejected, some were RFE'd.

If this is accurate, then it means they're working on some of the September petitions already. Because if I'm not mistaken, the first 5 numbers of the receipt number is when we mailed the petition.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.. I'm just basing it on our receipt number that starts with WAC15905xxxxx, we mailed ours on Sept 05, 2015. :)

That is incorrect. WAC1590561665 Is the first 129F for September. You can always add that case number to your list and then click on it for more detailed view, that's when you can see the date.

I still haven't a seen a change to the number of approvals for August 31st. It probably changed form 1 to 3 out of 180

This is also not 100% correct.

I have NOA1 date of Sept 1 and my receipt number is lower.

Approximately WAC1590556XXX is where Sept starts.

As for Aug31 I have seen approximately 5, so very slow moving for that date at the moment.

FYI - the date that you see on the tracker is not NOA1 date!!!

Date you see is the date the lockbox received your package, it takes them 2-3 days to scan contents, deposit your check, and only then issue receipt.

My package was received by lockbox on August 28(which is a Friday). On Aug 31(Monday), they scanned everything and deposited the check -- and issued NOA1 with the date of Sept 1.

The notice & tracker state the following: "On August 28, 2015, we received your Form.......", yet NOA1 date is Sept 1.

Ahh, got it. So it just so happened that our receipt number begins with WAC15905... I assumed that it was when we mailed our petition, because we mailed it on Sept 5th. But it does not necessarily follow that. Thanks!

Hello Alimanu

I'm also from the UK and sent a UK sized passport photo. My documents were delivered today. Hopefully we don't get a RFE.

I still didn't understand, if USCIS works on cases by the date they received the case, or by the NoA1 date.

How they work - very few people know(my guess by NOA1 - because that is the date your information has been entered into the system)

However your NOA1 date should be 2-3 days after they received and in theory the order of should be the same.

I have sent the actual size to my fiancee now, so that if there is RFE she can reply quickly.
