I don't know why we are still at NVC. They won't tell me. All they say is AP AP AP AP. It's like a broken record!!! Our status says "at NVC". It isn't supposed to take this long to be sent to the embassy. No one else that I know of is having this problem. Our NOA2 was 10/20 and received our case number 11/5. It's as if our case number was assigned and then our petition just disappeared.

AP is the most frustrating thing ever, I'm in AP after interview and I'm very frustrate, I can only imagine how frustrated you must be. Hang in there, want is your plan of action at this point?

AP is the most frustrating thing ever, I'm in AP after interview and I'm very frustrate, I can only imagine how frustrated you must be. Hang in there, want is your plan of action at this point?

Well I just got off the phone with NVC. Spoke with a very nice and very apologetic gentleman who assures me my case came out of AP on 11/20 and should be sent out at any time now. He did say that it was very odd that my status with CEAC never said AP. It has said at NVC for 3 weeks now. He said that was VERY strange. Not sure if I should be worried about that or not. I spoke with a woman Friday who told me the same thing but everyone else I have spoken with has said it is in AP. Guess it depends on who you talk to and how willing to help you they are. So for now, we wait. If it gets sent this week, we should be good for her to interview on the 4th.

So please pray for us my VJ friends and I'm praying for all of you still dealing with your own frustrations. God bless!

We received our NOA2 last Oct 30. We got our case number last Nov 19 and was received in Manila yesterday. I called NVC last night at 8PM Phil time and I spoke to a very nice consultant and informed us that we can already schedule our interview since our case is already in Manila. I wasn't expecting to be this fast.

Do I have to wait for my appointment letter from NVC or am I good to go? I can see that one of the requirements that I need to bring to the interview is that appointment letter.

Dont shedule your medical too far in advance. Our k1 was received by frankfurt embassy november 9th and i still havent gotten anything in the mail. Website also says it takes up 4-6 weeks for you to receive packet 3. Just a heads up ;) but maybe itll go faster for you.

I will schedule my medical soon and my fiancé will send me the I-134 incl. supporting documents some time next week or so. :) I'm so excited and happy that it's moving along :)

You schedule your interview with the embassy, not NVC. The only things you will need to schedule your interview is your MNL# and your receipt number showing you paid the visa fee.

The letter it is talking about is just your confirmation you will print when you schedule your appointment.

YAY!!! I have been following you, congrats!!! :)

My K2 and I will go to SLEC for our medical exam next week, Dec 2 and 3. I hope all goes well with you. There maybe a chance that I can meet your lovely fiancee there. :)

Speaking of medical, I have a K2 who will undergo the skin test for TB. It says it's good for 48-72 hours. I take it that going there on a Wednesday is okay -- or I might be wrong?

YAY!!! I have been following you, congrats!!! :)

My K2 and I will go to SLEC for our medical exam next week, Dec 2 and 3. I hope all goes well with you. There maybe a chance that I can meet your lovely fiancee there. :)

Speaking of medical, I have a K2 who will undergo the skin test for TB. It says it's good for 48-72 hours. I take it that going there on a Wednesday is okay -- or I might be wrong?

She will be there on those days. I hope ya'll can meet. That would be great.

Going on Wednesday is fine. Skin test has to be read in 48 to 72 hours. It can be read Friday. That will be 48 hours.

Yay, so much progress. Glad so many things are getting resolved before the holiday!

I booked our flights to Juarez today. So excited!! Every little step in this process is so exciting. I was going to book the hotel but think it might be too soon (7.5 weeks). Anybody know what a good rule of thumb is for that??
