Still stuck at NVC for 3 weeks now. She may not get to interview next week if NVC won't do their job!!!!!

What's ur case status now? Did it change to "In Transit"?

omg! Our case on ceac now shows as ready!! I guess now we are supposed to wait for package 3 to arrive!? I'm incredibly nervous all of a sudden lol!!

Finally received packet 3 in the mail today! interview is scheduled for January 20th (that late because I wanted that date..either way earliest was January 11). My leave of absence from work request was granted so in about 8 more weeks I'll get to be with my fiancé for his birthday and then interview! God is great <3

Just got my case ready at the Phil embassy today ...

Now I don't know what I should do next. Should I fill out DS160 first or pay the visa fee?

Hope someone can give me the next steps, I'm so lost right now. @_@

Nope. Still at NVC. NVC hates us. I'm sure it's sitting on someone's desk that took a long vacation for Thanksgiving or a leave of absence for some reason. All they tell me is there is no set time for administrative processing so who knows how long it will just sit there at NVC. No one at NVC cares or is willing to help so we will reschedule her interview and hope it gets sent so we don't have to pay the visa fee again.

So disappointed and frustrated.

You have to do the DS-160 before you pay the visa fee. You will need the confirmation number from the DS-160 to do your deposit slip you need to pay your visa fee.

Once you have paid your visa fee, you will need your receipt number from the deposit to schedule your interview.

Register online with slec for your medical and get your CENOMAR and NBI clearance too.

I thought you can pay the MRV fee without filling the DS-160 yet? As far as I know you only need to print the applicable U.S. visa application deposit slip and take the printed deposit slip with you to pay the fee. Look: http://manila.usembassy.gov/niv-application.html Step 1 actually is paying the fee and Step 2 is the DS-160 then schedule for interview..

Why are you on AP? I really thought it doesn't stay long once the petition is in NVC.. Someone from September filers had her NOA2 on Oct. 30 and her documents is already in Manila Embassy.. Seems like they randomly process the documents just like USCIS

Just sent in my package 3 today. Hopefully will receive package 4 before too long and I can schedule the interview. NVC took almost 3 weeks to update my status to ready. Was 'in transit' since November 4th. (it's funny since the montreal consulate is only a day drive away from the NVC lol) But no complaints as we are one step further

Gratz to all who are moving forward and to those who are stuck in administrative nonsense.... I keep you in my prayers and hope it all starts moving for you again soon.

And the change of address he made on the USCIS website also reached NVC. Yay! I thought it wouldn't be that easy. Lol

I will schedule my medical soon and my fiancé will send me the I-134 incl. supporting documents some time next week or so. I'm so excited and happy that it's moving along

I don't know why we are still at NVC. They won't tell me. All they say is AP AP AP AP. It's like a broken record!!! Our status says "at NVC". It isn't supposed to take this long to be sent to the embassy. No one else that I know of is having this problem. Our NOA2 was 10/20 and received our case number 11/5. It's as if our case number was assigned and then our petition just disappeared.
