Guys, I have a question. For the birth certificate, does it need to be last 6 months from the time you requested for it until the interview? I know that the CENOMAR(Certificate of No Marriage) has to be at least 6 months. I got my birth certificate and CENOMAR last March 2015, so I requested for another copy of my CENOMAR last week but I didn’t know that the birth certificate requested date also matters.

April 13, 2016 – AOS, EAD & AP sent (Day 1)

April 15, 2016 – Received date on the NOA1 (Day 2)

April 22, 2016 – Received SMS & E-mail Notification (Day 9)

April 25, 2016 – Received Hard Copy of NOA1 (Day 12)

May 2, 2016 – Received Biometric Appointment (Day 19)

May 13, 2016 – Biometric Schedule (Day 30)

May 30, 2016 – Updated I-485 to “Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for Interview” (Day 47)

June 29, 2016 - Submitted Service Request (Day 76)

July 13, 2016 - EAD & AP approved (Day 89)

Status still says "at nvc". Frustrating. <_<:(

I would call the NVC to see if its really still there or if they've sent it. The reason I suggest to do so is because mine showed correctly from "at nvc" to "in transit" but then it went to "ready" even though it had just been sent to the embassy. The tracker stayed showing "ready" even though it hadn't been received yet by the embassy. The only thing that changed is the status updated date and it went from the day they sent it out to today's date which is when we received packet 3. So there is some hiccups with the tracker.

I called NVC this morning and they already received our case, but no case number yet. We are hoping to get our case ASAP. Lol We will be in Manila and they said there are very few slots remaining for December interview. ?

Called NVC and all they will tell me is that it is still in administrative processing. Whatever the hell that means. I'm wondering if the APEC Conference in Manila is the problem. I know the embassy is not doing interviews during the conference so I wonder if they are not receiving new cases as well. Anyone else waiting at NVC to be sent to Manila have any thoughts?

Sorry to hear this news from the Philippines but may be also because of the bullet scam happening at the Manila airport. It is becoming a popular news, recently I've seen and heard foreigners became a victim to this scam and few of them are Americans. There are many possibilities but hope everything goes smoothly and normal process.

The US Embassy in Manila follows both US and PH holidays. So there's 2 days of Thanksgiving and a PH holiday on the 30th. As for APEC next week, public offices will be closed for 4 days, and 2 days for private offices. I'm not sure where US Embassy falls. I can't find an announcement of their business operations for next week. :'/

My case still says "AT NVC" too.. I'm not certain when our case will say "Ready", but I do pray that it happens before your scheduled interview. I know your fiancee's schedule is on Dec 4th. I hope that all goes well with her medical too. I know you guys scheduled it tight. :)

So, I scheduled my interview on Dec 15th. While I was there, I checked all the dates available, so to those hoping for a December interview sched, here are the dates and the number of slots available (as of 5:00PM MNL time) --

Dec 01 = 4 slots

Dec 03 = 2 slots

Dec 04 = 2 slots

Dec 07 = 19 slots

Dec 08 = 18 slots

Dec 09 = 36 slots

Dec 10 = 32 slots

Dec 14 = 34 slots

Dec 15 = 37 slots

Dec 16 = 38 slots

Dec 17 = 43 slots

Dec 18 = 30 slots

Dec 21 = 5 slots

Dec 22 = 5 slots

Hope this helps! Good luck to each of us going through the whole K1 process. I pray that the Lord grant us with all the desires of our hearts. ❤️???

well if I need to send something next time I will use a different service. they said it will take 6-7 business days. I sent it on 6th, so its now the 5th business day - it arrived in the states at LA on 7th - been there ever since! I'm worried because the documents were all originals ... i really hope by Monday i will see that it's arrived in CA.
