That is a good plan of action. One more thing, don't volunteer your sponsorship, let the CO ask for it. The interview is where you let sleeping dogs lie. If asked, answer the question with confidence and truthfully, but don't volunteer information. ALL information is used to adjudicate your case.

The earliest interview appt was Nov 30th as of yesterday when I made her appt. We just chose the 4th. She only wants to make one trip to Manila so she is doing her medical and interview all that week. From what I've learned about the process in the Philippines, once you have your MNL# you can proceed. No need to wait for a letter. When I called for the MNL I got the invoice number too. She was able to to her DS-160 and pay the visa fee once we got the MNL. Once the visa fee is paid you can schedule your interview. There is plenty of help both here in the forum as well as other places on how to proceed and what is needed for all the steps. We are excited and praying everything continues smoothly.

Thanks. That site is very helpful. I was just overwhelmed with all the information that I'm finding online. So, from now on, I'll follow that site. I'm also not from Manila. So, I also want to save in doing everything in one trip. I just didn't think it's possible to schedule the medical exam less than a week from the interview.

What photo you have you can use. It's hard for kids at that age to not do something when asked.

Now real world is this. If you are healthy and do not suspect TB then you can do it a little closer to your appointment, but if you think you may have TB or have been exposed to it, I would not schedule my medical to close to the interview. In fact, if you answer yes to either of those situations then I would go as early as possible as you may have a delay and it's best to catch it early.

If neither of those fits your health history then you can schedule 3-4 days from you interview but keep in mind the exam is a two day process normally.

But still, even if you have scheduled your medical 5-7 days prior to your interview, it's still not enough if you have suspected TB right? Since the sputum culture would take up to 2 months..

We are taking a risk scheduling the way we did but she is healthy and we do not anticipate any issues with her medical exam. If there are, we will deal with that when the time comes. We are just trying to save on travel and hotel expenses. Neither one of us has a lot of extra money so trying to be as frugal as possible. Lol.

Yes, we did. There's a few of us on here that all got NOA2s on November 9th. From what i saw we all had rfe responses received by CSC between October 30 and November 5. Hope yours is as quick!

Yes, we got approved November 9. USCIS received our RFE response October 30.

Looks like they have waited for responses of the whole week and approved them all the same day. Lol
