Yay!

Did your date change during the waiting? Our status has been "READY" for a few days and the "last update date" was 27 November until today, now it is December 1. So they possibly worked on our case and I could get packet 3 soon?

its was received Nov 9th by Embassy and the status was updated on the 20th. since the website says 4-6 weeks i was okay with it but still nervously awaiting it every single daaaay

i bet you'll get it soon! keep my fingers crossed for you

My I-129F got approved yesterday. Exactly 2 weeks from them receiving my RFE (which was just the beneficiary intent to marry signed in INK , not typewritten). I had only submitted petitioner intent to marry in initial documents.

I am very happy and thankful. I actually stopped signing on constantly, because it was causing stress and it worked like a charm! I got a repsonse when I got a response. Thanks to everyone who helped me so much. I look forward to continuing on the journey.

The only bad thing about not constantly reading is that I have forgotten the next steps. Unthinkable, considering I was on here daily reading and prepping. Back to the timeline it is!!

Just scheduled my medical for next tuesday. my fiance is going to send me the affidativ of support this week. oh this makes me so happy!

I have quite an important question ref medical and interview...

I can have my medical done as soon as they can fit me, however, my fiancé is waiting for his military documents for the I-134 supporting documents. This might be as long as February.

Should I wait to have my medical because I won't be able to have my interview so quickly, or can I go ahead and have the medical?

In my opinion you should wait. However the medical is only valid for 6 months which immidiatly sets the deadline for your k1 to expire.

That said i wouldnt rush. the medical only eats up a few hours. Idk how hard it will be to reschedule the appointment with your physician. I was pretty lucky to get an appointment for next week with a physican close by. they literally told me

that they are pretty booked up.

i hear you! it really not that big of a deal but i also get his point of view. we have a co sponsor too since my fiance is still a med-school student. i took us a while to gather everything but its worth it.

theres always up's and downs. dont worry too much. feel group hugged

after 14 days in AP (8 business days) the embassy called my fiancee instructing us to drop off her passport, and that it will take 1 week for it to be ready. status still shows AP. Does this mean we can smile again? lol

I am a med student as well. I used a co-sponsor because i have no income other that financial aid which apparently doesn't count.
