Hi everyone. We received our NOA1 last September 28 so I guess I belong in this thread. I've been following this thread and been reading all of your posts here. I am amazed as how fast you got the NOA2. In the letter that was sent to us that the next notification that we will be receiving will be on the 28th of October. Btw, I'm the beneficiary and I'm from the Philippines. Does it mean that we can possibly have our NOA2 by then? I have been checking the uscis tracker like crazy.

And another question, my passport will be expiring this May 2016. Do you suggest I renew my passport now or can I still use it when I enter the US?

I'm from Mindanao.. There are a lot of Filipinos in Jersey and the neighboring city. Next year I hope :wub: we have a target date for the special day, hope everything works in our favor and get there a month before or so :) What about your plans? Any date yet?

Yes please renew your passport. It has to be at least valid for another 6 months after entering the US. :)

But looks like the Germans on here got their approvals later than the estimated date...? So I'm gonna try to be patient. Lol

Everything happens for a reason as bad as it sounds ;) it took my fiance and i forever to get this 1129F package send but it was for good because we got transferred

so you betcha...you'll get a notification soon. i dont think that there is certain procedures for different countries just a tremandous amount of files to go through with every application

this whole process would be so much easier if it was paperless but thats just my 2 cents. :)
