question regarding biometrics appointment

1.I received Biometrics appointment notice. Why they send me two same notices in two different envelops. (I 485 and 765 applicatio number on the same page)

2. When I go to the appointment, do I have to bring anything else beside passport.

hey there.....dont know the ans to the first...but i just brought passport and the appointment letter they sent for biometrics. good luck

they probably notice that later, that you are applying for 2 different things that requires your biometrics.

My biometrics appointment letter shows both of the case no. on it. (I-485 and I-765)

Does not mean anything, as long as you got both the same date. (sometimes they screw up and make you come on 2 different days)

I received them on the same date. The notice date is same. The two notices are exactly same. Both notice show I 485 and I 765 application number.

I wouldn't worry about that too much.

They asked me for my passport, a second (U.S) picture ID the appointment letter and I also brought my NOA1 letters.

We received 2 notices on the same day as well with identical info for both EAD and AOS biometrics appointments. It's not a big deal, just make sure to take both letters and your passport.

Claudeth had to go to two different biometrics, one for EAD and one for AOS. The EAD only required fingerprint of one finger while AOS required all fingers.
