Montreal-IV-DV@state.gov

sent 3 e-mails got my answers within 24 hours everytime. I sent them always in the evening and in fact 2 of my e-mails were answered the next morning before 10 am.

i just did copy and paste from the embassy info section with Mtl's address.

I dont get why they would answer some people and not others. I used a Hotmail account as well.

Nic, I know you have been posting about this for a while, but exactly how long have you been waiting. I don't know if you don't have a timeline or if the link is jsut screwy.

Monique

Sorry I've been meaning to fill it out, but my checklist was returned to them on Nov. 5th. The reason I'm worried is because the original timeline I received was Feb/Mar. I made plans around this timeline, but now they are pushing it to Mar/Apr, and to be fairly honest, there seems to be a big lull in K-1 interviews. It's making me nervous because if it becomes a late Apr scenario, then a lot of my original plans and family plans from overseas will need to be moved. Apologies for sounding distressed, but it's just getting very close.

We're on the same timeline as you Nic........returned the checklist on Nov 6. Each reply from Montreal is the same......" you're still on the waiting list". Hubby emailed again yesterday and is yet to get a response but I will certainly post if and when he does.

Wish i had more to offer other than we're in this with ya........

I again looked at the timelines and there are like 15 k-1 and k-3's still needing interviews that returned checklists from Aug - Dec 31.........3 from London 3 from China 3 various and 7 Montreal if we include you, AlanandSharon and EmilyRugBurn ( who also don't have a timeline done btw ;) )

Anyway....

Seems like they are plain ignoring the K3s as well.

You're the USC right? I wonder if you should call on his behalf and see if you can get any info or an interview date... My husband (USC) was going to do that for me at one point.
