My husbands case sent back to USCIS for review they received it June 10. We had 2 ceac updates. But its been 18 months since I've been with him.I leave Tuesday morning to go to Tunisia to live with him til this is over. The stress is unbearable to take alone.leaving my family behind is hard but I have their support. please pray for us that this will pass quickly. 2 attacks in Tunisia and little worried. But I know I'm doing the right thing my father will be here to check the mail for anything from USCIS.pray for us please.

The problem with you staying in Tunisia is that USCIS says give them 180 days to get your Notice of Intent To Revoke to you. It could come sooner or later than that. The NOIR will tell you all the reasons why your case was sent back to USCIS. You will only have 30 days to answer the NOIR and get your package back to USCIS. If you should needs documents from the United States or need to hire an attorney you will need to fly back on a moments notice.

Now, USCIS could also look at your case and decide on their own to send the case back to the embassy for another interview but you can't count on that.

Your case is no longer in AP. Having your case sent back to USCIS is a totally different thing.

I know you miss your husband. I didn't see mine for 2 years before his visa was finally issued after we answered our NOIR. I just want you to know about the 30 day window you will have. If you can't come back to the USA but have a good idea of the reason your case was sent back take your proofs and documents with you and also make sure hubby has a printer. Take money to FedEx your package back to your father or directly to USCIS.

It is good that you've been thinking ahead. While you are there keep your proof of your visit. Ticket stubs from your flight, new pics with him and his family, etc. so you can send it in with your package. If you have any more questions please private message me or ask on the forum.

I think it is really brave what you're doing and shows how much your relationship means to you both! Just stay away from the tourist areas and you should be fine. Those attacks were targeted locations as I'm sure you know. And I would do the same thing in your position.
