Hello all ...

She has a ton of pictures on her iPad. Since I saw many people here show the at Interview at US EM which bans all electronics from accompanying you, how should she show them? Should she print them prior to going there? Should they be on regular or photo paper? How many?

In short, how she handle this?

PS: She will go for an interview, at the US EM, for I-130 though DCF.

Many thanks!

My wife made a small photo album and took that with her to the interview. It show diffrent part of our relationship. First time we met our engagement our wedding pictures. Pictures of us with her family . She had one or two picture per page about 40 total. My wife told me the person interviewing her thought it was a very nice photo album she made

If you decide to do this just get a small photo album. I do not know if they will let you bring a large photo album to the interview

She had the pictures printed on photo paper

My wife pictures was on a camera. She just took the camera to a photo shop there. She lived in Manila. I am not sure where you and your spouse are in the Philippines but i think there would be some photo place there that will know how to print some of the pictures off the I pad for you

It might cost a little extra but she will have a nice photo album of the both of you that she can bring to the USA

The embassy gave the photo album back to my wife. She think they kept a couple of the pictures

Ahh. She might have had them as negatives that normally are printed on photo paper, the normal way.

My wife has an iPhone and takes a ton of pics on them. She also has it connected to her iCloud hence her iPad.

I am in Davao but what I wanted to know is those pics should be shown to the interviewer if nothing electronic is allowed in?

I would print a selection the most economical way; it can be on regular paper, many pictures on each page. Brief description and dates are useful.

She can print the photos from iPad using the cord(charger). I went to the studio and printed all my photos from the iPhone using the cord.

Thanks CappyLovesSag!

Actually, we did go to some print shop here and the lady gave my wife (I was hiding coz I am a Kano :) ), two options. One will cost 12 P and 20 min and one with 7.5 P but takes an hour!?

I was really surprised by this quote coz all I wanted to know was how do they want it and what kind of paper?

So, I told my wife to go back and ask and they said it would be via Bluetooth!! I wonder, do they really know what to do? :)

If you ask me, I think it's better to put all those pics on one USB then take it to them to print. An USB is something they understand!

12 pesos for what size of paper?? Oh well it's the Philippines LOL I have to be stern sometimes to some filipinos coz I hate someone ripping me off. I did mine 3R size for 5 pesos. And it only took less than 30 minutes to print 20 photos that's what I sent to our initial petition.

No one brings electronics into the embassy.

1st you only need 6-12 pictures, print them on regular paper is fine. The rest should be easy get the iPad linked to a printer or move the pics to a memory stik or another computer

I have a color laser printer and I took 12 pictures and posted them 4 to a page. I added some information to the location etc. and at the interview we didn't have a problem especially since they never looked at them. BUT, I was prepared.

What I did was that I uploaded a number of pictures to a online picture studio and put it into a 3 page collage. I had it printed off and mailed to me, then I took that to her interview. Since you are in Davao (my asawa is from Davao as well and I love it there) you can go to GMall and have them print some off for literally only a few dollars. I say GMall because they have alot of electronic shops there and they should be able to help.
