up to what extent does the co sponsor do? like if the immigrant was hospitalized, is the co sponsor will be the payor? is the co sponsor also responsible in getting them housing? or if they screw up there credit will the co sponsor pay for the debts? im asking because my brother is petitioning his fiancee but his pay check doesnt meet the poverty line and he needs co sponsor. i want to help but up to what extent do i need to cover?

All detailed on the I 864 you will need to sign.
