My Husband, the former Marine, who went through boot on Parris Island in 1969, and then on to Vietnam and environs, says Improvise, Adapt, and Overcome.

Hahaha my man says the same. Can get frustrating.

Finding a reputable lawyer is a shot in the dark. Also, lawyers are humans just like us.

Think of it like this...the petition is MUCH more personal to you and your fiancee, so you are more likely to double, triple, quadruple check everything, and as a result, have less possibility of RFE. If you follow the guides on the site and have a pretty normal case, there is no reason at all to waste money on a lawyer. You still have to provide all the evidence, gather a lot of information needed...all in all, the lawyer does less work than you, and could provide you with incorrect information.

Not worth it.
