There's no need to be worried. Use which ever Form you are comfortable with. In regards to your interview, relax, look in Interviewer's eyes and answer all questions truthfully. You will be fine.

I don't think you should include them in Option 7 since that category is for non-dependent family members, like parents and siblings. Is the son listed on your father-in-laws tax return?? If not, then he's not a dependent child and would be listed in Option 7 as an adult child.

my father in law has an SSA retirement income, he is not required to fill taxes cause his income, is non taxable, however his wife and son are his dependents, and they get a part of his SSA income under the social security number of my father in law, we were thinking that we should fill 2 i864a for his wife and son, but now i called and they told me fill one form I864 for my father in law and include all the income together, he wrote an explanation why he is not rquired to fill taxes, and we will attach it with SSA 1099 of the last three years

now on the form I864 PART 6 ITEM 19.A. TO19.C, would he have to leave that spaces blank or type 0$ under 2014.2013 and 2012?

So, his wife and son don't have their own income? If they don't then you don't need to complete an I-864A.

On the instructions, it says if you weren't required to file taxes then you need to write N/A.

Yea, so if the income is coming from him, they don't need I-864As. If they were working and had jobs with W-2s and the whole works, then the I-864A would be required.

Page 8 of the I-864 Instructions. There's a note:

NOTE: Do not leave the boxes for Item Number 19.a. blank. Print or type the most recent tax year and your total income for that most recent tax year. If the amount was zero, enter “zero” or if you were not required to file a Federal income tax return enter “N/A” for not applicable.
