Visa Categorization at American Consulate in China

Our petition finally made it to the consulate in China. The concern I have is when we go to the CEAC website to check the status it does not show up under the non-immigrant status page. If we go to the immigrant status page it shows up. Is this the correct categorization? Or should it get moved over to non-immigrant.

Thanks for any help.

David

even though K1 is technically non-immigrant visa, but it's categorized as immigrant visa at the consulate.

Thanks! Eases my mind. We just went through filling out the ds-160. Not tough. Just waiting for instructions from consulate to schedule interview. Does anyone know what the k1 fees are in Guangzhou?
