I would not expect that you could bring in more than one person, and if they are not a USC, there is no chance they would be able to enter the embassy unless specifically requested.

Actually your family can tag along with you on the shuttle service to the embassy but the family stays behind and the person interviewing goes inside the embassy. The family members who might be coming along need to bring their passport otherwise they won't even let you board the shuttle bus.

quick question

how can i carry all that stuff ( my medical ,skype watsapp etc other documents as theres a pile ) if im not allowed to carry them in a bag, do i have to hold them all the time in my hand?

There are plastic folders available in the market, you can buy one of them. They can hold up to 1000 pages as these folder have up to 10 compartments within. Otherwise a large shopping bag is your friend.

1voice1life as u have your interview approved? was the OC white men women?

I won't recommend suit and tie but smart casual. Don't overdress as its not a job interview and I was interviews by a white male.

My wife just called to tell me that she was Approved. :-) Finally the end is near.

Yes, these are only questions they asked her.

The only documents they asked her was Original Birth Certificate, Original Urdu Nikkah Nama, 2 pictures and Passport.

The person who interviewed her returned the original Birth Certificate and Nikkah Nama back to her after the interview completed.

Another thing she mentioned it's a 3 step process once you are inside the embassy:

1 - Your token number will be announced not shown on the screen. After that you give the 2 pictures to the person who takes your finger print.

2 - Your token number will be shown on the screen and announced at the same time. You provide the Birth Certificate, Nikkah Nama and Passport to the person. He might returned your old pictures back to you which were submitted with the application.

3 - Your token number will be shown on the screen and announced at the same time. This is your interview call.

I just wanted to everyone that my husband got the call t pick up his passport already! He finally has visa in hand! Just 2 days after the interview too. Can't wait to book the ticket so he can finally join our little girl and me!

Any one pls tell me HOW MUCH IS THE INTERBIEW FEE IN RUPPESS & WILL IT B OK IF I DONT HAVE THE EXACT CHSNGE ???

You don't pay any fee at the interview. There's a $165 Green Card fee that you are suppose to pay after you have received your visa and before coming to America.

When I got approved and also when I went to American Express to collect my passport they told me that I can pay for the green card now ($165). I am a bit confused because I thought that K1 can only apply for it after they get married to their fiance. Can anyone please explain it?

Hammad1987, you said you emailed them but have you tried the email submission link on the embassy website? Here is the link

It says that they will usually respond in 5 working days.

Just got email from them today. They scheduled it for Oct 20.

Now about 2 weeks to get medical and prepare for interview.

Any advice on how to prepare for interview? I did read this thread but just wanted to get any other advice that may have not been posted
