The arguments against taking any prudent action include:

• It's not happening
• No really regardless of what you show me , it's not happening
• It's really not happening and you are arrogant to believe that anything modern man is doing could have that affect
• It is really happening but you are arrogant to believe that anything modern man is doing could have that affect
• People who believe this ####### are commies
• When you go back 300 million years, sea levels are actually low
• In the whole scheme of things , its not that bad
• I am in a better position to judge what good science is than you (and scientists), go back to bed

It's not like there is anything man can do about it overall.

There is X amount of water on our planet.

It changes state all the time.

It will continue to change state.

If you live near the ocean, don't.
