Hi ClangDj,

We just had our interview and our CRBA approved last week.

Unlike, immigration visas, there is very little wait time at the Embassy (in another words, you don't need to start waiting on line at 7am :)

Besides that, bring originals and a copy of all documents that you submitted. There is a pre-screen interview where they examine all your documents to make sure nothing critical is missing. Ours was conducted by a Filipina who was very nice. One thing we neglected was to bring pictures of my asawa with a full blown preggy stomach. But this was never brought up in the second, official interview. The official interview itself was very easy. As our interviewer, an American, stated to us, they are on the look out for CRBA apps where the child is born out of wedlock or in cases where there is a large age gap between the parents. There were three couples ahead of us-- two seemed to have a large age gap and their interviews lasted over 30 minutes. Ours and one other young couple were done in about 10 minutes.

No difficult questions were asked....he seemed to be focused on two things: the legitimacy of our relationship (pictures, especially wedding and hospital pictures, should prove this) and whether I had lived in the US for a minimum of 5 years (income tax and w-2s will suffice). Once he was confident in our evidence and in our answers, everything was a breeze.

Feel free to PM me if you have additional questions.

Good luck.

Thanks again Clangdj,

We will be sending our packet for our twins by next week.

Docs that we have right now are:

NSO Birth Certs of the twins

Marriage Cert

My passport

His Old and new US and PH passports

His Certificate of Naturalization

Ultrasound reports and hospital records

Pictures of us when we were dating, got married, got pregnant and gave birth.

Facebook message logs when we were dating until now.

Boarding passes when we traveled overseas.

Do you think i missed something?

Do i need to send photocopies of our pictures together? or just the facebook messages logs and boarding passes will do?

I want to avoid having a DNA testing cause that would be very expensive esp we have twins.

Hope you receive a reply soon. God Bless!
