Hi, I have a co worker who is a us permanent resident and have a japanese citizen fiance. Is it possible for them to get married in the US when her fiance will visit her( tourist visa) this year?

yes you can.. me (tourist) husband (lpr) got married in the us.. they just asked for my passport, filled out application form and paud the fee and thats it! but that is also true, she still need to wait around 2 yrs for her petition. my suggestion get married as soon as possible once she arrive so that you can file for her f2a asap.
