Thanks so much Ileana. I guess i just needed someone to talk to. Its getting hard but im trying to be optimistic. Did the US embassy people answered your query when you called them? Are you the petitioner?

No My husband is the US citizen..I'm the immigrant I called USCIS, the embassy here in Romania won't talk till NVC will send them the case..I called USCIS and had this nice guy i talked with he explained me a bunch of stuff...that each worker that's working on your case is working different slower or faster..that they never go from month to month they jump that's why we see so many cases approved from march but they work on February, reason for that is bc some workers work faster. So he said don't stress out your time will come pretty soon!

I know how it is to not be able to talk with anyone, I'm away from home for a year now and each day is getting harder, especially if your husband just had an accident at work and he might need surgery for his back and i cant even be there..i mean we are really going trough some weird stuff right now. One of the reasons i called is bc if my husband has to get a surgery I dont want him to be alone i wanna be there for him..so i wanted to know if we can expedite I-130 and my future I-601...so i got some good answers..If u need someone to talk I'm here!

Thank you dear! I hope it works out with you real soon too... So maybe if 6months for our lapse i may also call USCIS, actually getting worried that the application got piled up of other applications.

I wish you and your husband the best, expedited process and hopefully we will be reunited with our loves soon. Me and my boyfriend have been away from each other for 7 months now and dont know when we get to hug each other again. :)

Yana, there are two March K-1 filer threads. One for both CSC and TSC and one exclusively for TSC. I suggest following at least the TSC one so you can see the March TSC filers getting approved and share your joy! That will give you a place where you can see what people have gone through to the next step too.

TSC March filer thread (last page): http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/541580-i-129f-filers-march-2015-noa1-date-tsc-only/page-22#entry7788857

General March filer thread (last page): http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/539166-march-2015-k-1-filers/page-155#entry7786976

Yes, you are almost there!

I have been waiting for 9 months going 10 now. If you need some patience, let me know I will lend you some :). Been waiting for NOA2 since November of last year. I have called and opened service request 3 times with USCIS thus far and I always get same answer or response that they are still doing background check. I'm just hoping that it wont be much longer.

So hang in there, maybe yours would be approved much sooner. I'm sure that these cases are unique and thus treated differently. I don't know why mine is taking this long or what's causing this much delay.

You should get your congressman involved if you haven't already. Unless there is some kind of serious red flag in your case (which you'd probably already know about) this is really not normal.

Marriage/ AOS Timeline:

23 Dec 2015: Legal marriage

23 Jan 2016: Wedding!

23 Jan 2016: "Blizzard of the Century", wedding canceled/rescheduled (thank goodness we were legally married first or we'd have had a big problem!) :sleepy:

24 Jan 2016: Small "civil ceremony" with friends and family who were snowed in with us. December was a bit of a secret and people had traveled internationally and knew we *had* to get married that weekend, and our December legal marriage was nothing but signing a piece of paper at our priest's kitchen table, without any sort of vows etc so this was actually a very special (if not legally significant) day. (L)

16 Apr 2016: Filed for AOS and EAD/AP (We delayed a bit-- no big rush, enjoying the USCIS break)

23 Apr 2016: Wedding! Finally! :luv:

27 Apr 2016: Electronic NOA1 for all 3 :dancing:
29 Apr 2016: NOA1 Hardcopy for all 3
29 Jul 2016: Online service request for late EAD (Day 104)
29 Jul 2016: EAD/AP Approved ~3 hours after online service request
04 Aug 2016: RFE for Green Card (requested medicals/ vaccination record. They already have it). :ranting:
05 Aug 2016: EAD/AP Combo Card arrived! (Day 111)
08 Aug 2016: Congressional constituent request to get guidance on the RFE. Hoping they see they have the form and approve!

K-1 Visa Timeline:

PLEASE NOTE. This timeline was during the period of time when TSC was working on I-129fs and had a huge backlog. The average processing time was 210+ days. This is in no way predictive of your own timeline if you filed during or after April 2015, unless CSC develops a backlog. A backlog is anything above the 5-month goal time listed on USCIS's site

14 Feb 2015: Mailed I-129f to Dallas Lockbox. (L) (Most expensive Valentine's card I've ever sent!)

17 Feb 2015: NOA1 "Received Date"
19 Feb 2015: NOA1 Notice Date
08 Aug 2015: NOA2 email! :luv: (173 days from NOA1)

17 Aug 2015: Sent to NVC

?? Aug 2015: Arrived at NVC

25 Aug 2015: NVC Case # Assigned

31 Aug 2015: Left NVC for Consulate in San Jose

09 Sep 2015: Consulate received :dancing: (32 days from NOA2)

11 Sep 2015: Packet 3 emailed from embassy to me, the petitioner (34 days from NOA2).

18 Sep 2015: Medicals complete

21 Sep 2015: Packet 3 complete, my boss puts a temporary moratorium on all time off due to work emergency :clock:

02 Oct 2015: Work emergency clears up, interview scheduled (soonest available was 5 business days away--Columbus Day was in there)

13 Oct 2015: Interview

13 Oct 2015: VISA APPROVED  (236 days from NOA1)

19 Oct 2015: Visa-in-hand

24 Oct 2015: POE !

15 Dec 2015: Fiance's mother's B-2 visa interview: APPROVED! So happy she will be at the wedding!

chvsky, are you a TSC or CSC filer? Your case says it was transferred, but some people mis-interpret that meaning. Is your USCIS case number starting with WAC or SRC?

WAC is CSC and SRC is TSC. Yeah, something totally wrong if you are WAC!

I didn't think of involving a congressman but now I'm going to. It's a WAC, so CSC. Which should have been much sooner than other locations. And there is no red flag at all that I'm aware of or should be concerned about.
