response time after 221g

The consulate said my fiance's visa was approved pending on a correction to our boy's birth certificate. The lady was very nice, just told my fiance to simply fix the birth certificate and send it back and she and my boy will get the approval stamp. We sent the document and it arrived this morning (wednesday) at the US Embassy (BKK). For a simple 221G, how long does it take to get a response/approval? I know standard is 10-15 business days, but would like to see personal experiences.

every embassy is different

have a friend submitted the requied douments a year ago/ still waiting

i hope when she submityted them to embassy, she put case number, both names and DOB on the upper right hand corner

I know every embassy is different, that's why I was asking in the Thailand section.

And if your friend had a simple 221G, there's no way they could be waiting a year. But yes, we put our case number and all names.
