So I was finally able to register my appointment for courier service at https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ca/iv/after several emails to technical support. They reset my account to be able to register it.

Anyways, the drop down gave me only few Loomis locations to use as my pickup location. The closest one for me is London, rather than my parents address in Windsor.

I really hope they give me visa same day from the consulate, rather than putting me in administrative processing and I will have to drive to London to pick it from Loomis.

No, you'll have to drive to London to pick it up, sorry.

What kind of courier company it is when it can't deliver to home?

An American one. Loomis is also mostly known for transports of cash and other high-importance items. They won't ever send it to your home because it's a little more important than most things. You'll have to pick it up at the location they say, they want to make sure it's you when you pick it up.

Personally, and maybe I'm saying this as an American, I like the concept over it being sent to the home. Out of everything I've ever received at my house, I've never once had to show ID, and most things like UPS and Fedex are allowed to give the parcel to any person in the home age 16 or over. I'd take Loomis' security over that any day.

Also no one gets their visa the same day. After they take it, they're going to go through another check process then manually put the visa in the passport. The check process that has another round of security checks is why there was a delay a few months ago when the system went down. They -could- put in the visa's into passports, but before you can do that you have to do more security checks, that system was down, which halted putting in the visas. That's why it generally takes a few days to get your stuff marked as issued. The most recent guy I think posted today saying his interview was on the 24th and CEAC already has him as issued.

I live in USA, so i qualify to pick passport next day.

I have seen guys with employment based cases who got visa same day evening.

You used to get it there and then, I did.

Procedures changed.
