One post removed and a few for quoting. Violation was a more of a mistaken identity problem. Its not fair game to speculate on the identity of another poster when the speculation can lead to personal attacks or what is basically "false quoting" If you think someone might be someone else, ask them. If they don't want to answer, then that's that.

On another note, this thread is pretty close to being closed. There's a disturbing trend (coming from both sides of the spectrum) of slandering other posters. If you guys want the leeway required here to debate as you have been then take it down a notch. Discuss the issues and not other people.

pay attention mount. that quote you posted wasn't me. you know this. I didn't participate in that thread. Teddy linked it to someone using the handle eieio. how you keep getting -relo- out of eieio? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Apparently the font on my phone is not sufficient for my ancient eyes. My humblest apologies for my error.

All we need is space.

How hard is that to understand?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Amen!

I was wondering why Teddy was quoting me. It made no sense, until I realized it was a case of mistaken identity.

Carry on.

Don't be obtuse. Everyone is well aware of where and how much looting has gone on in the past year.

Like the pumpkin patch riot? Or the sports team winning? Ow and don't forget when a sport's team lose. Every race has issues within it's race.

People become angry when they can't get justice.

And anger does not justify doing wrong to others, does it? It's still wrong. Regardless of skin color, regardless of the justification, looting and burning and stealing are all crimes.

Not saying it's justifiable, just making a point.

I'm not sure why the "pumkin patch riot" or the "sports team riots" are used to show that white people riot too.

The pumkin patch riot was an isolated incident of drunk and stupid college kids that were out of control, it lasted all of a few hours, people were arrested and peace was restored. I'm in no way condoning that behavior, I despise it, but it in no way compares to any of the riots we have seen by members of the black population in recent memory.

The sports teams riots have a combination of races involved, black, white, Hispanic and probably many others as well. It's not just whites and it is not political in any way. And again, peace is restored within hours. Cities are not destroyed and businesses are not looted and burnt to the ground in the manner of the riots in these black communities.

In no way, shape or form do I condone riotous behavior, to me it is one of the worst behaviors displayed by humans. Too many innocent people are hurt, killed and put in harms way. But if we're going to make comparisons, let's make fair ones.

I think we need to understand why there's so much anger there, rather than assume or indirectly imply that black people riot because they are just violent people and that's how they are.

The riots in London a few years ago, generally featured the common denominator of poor inner-city youth.

The poverty defines the anger more than the race of those involved.
