is it ok for me to file for naturalization?

hello VJ'ers. here'r my case..

Ive been married to my husband here in the US 2012, went back to the Philippines (its a long story) and came back here May 20, 2013 with temporary GC, we just renewd and got approved the ROC this August. Now, my husband wants to retire in the Philippines next year. But i read that having a Permanent GC and wants to be out of the country, i have to go back here in the US every 6 months for continuation of residency and the uscis will not think that im abandoning my residency? We read, that i can file for my naturalization somewhere in Guam .. but its gonna be expensive both ways.

Question : is the 3 year rule applicable to the time we got married or the time i got my temporary 2 years GC ?

The 3 years starts after both of the following conditions are fulfilled:

1- married to US citizen

2-permanent residency in the US for 3 years

Your trip outside the US may affect your eligibility. Was it longer than 6 months?

If you or your husband moves permanently to the PI, you will not be eligible to naturalize in Guam. That plan will not work since you would abandoned your LPR status by moving permanently to another country and/or you are not living with your USC husband in the US as required for naturalization.

Thank you for the response. He told me that we will be going back and forth here once in a while but i still dont know how often is that once in a while... im gonna ask him to let me do my naturalization first before we moved back.
