tourist visa for family

im a k-1 visa holder will be entering the US in a few days.

my family wants to apply for a tourist visa to be able to visit me around christmas

both my parents work full time. obviously their managers know about the trip and already issued them an employment letter stating they are aware of their future vacation plans to the US.

my dad had a tourist visa before but it expired.

my brother is 12 and goes to school, and my grandma is a pensioner.

i was thinking that it might seem weird that the whole family travels together, and im wondering, is it worth the risk?

they have proof of ties to the country (own 2 houses, a car, obviously the full time job. not sure what other proof i can provide), and israeli citizens have no issue getting a visa, but i dont want them to get denied.

Well, if your dad has already been through the tourist visa process then he already knows how it works.

Those two things are counting in their favor.

Don't overthink this, have them apply. Be upfront about the purpose of visit, have supporting documents, and they have a good chance.

Your family will have to prove to the satisfaction of the US consular official at the interviewing US embassy/consulate, that they have significant ties to Israel such that they would return to Israel after their US visit is completed. Such ties could include, property, house ownership, current stable employment, etc. Each visitor visa applicant is presumed to have immigration intent, and must prove that they are not trying to immigrate to the US. A letter from a doctor, any documents from you, or any other invitation-type letter would likely have no positive effect on the visitor visa approval. It sounds like your father has experience with the US tourist visa process and has appropriate examples of the necessary ties to Israel.

thing is he filed his visa over 10 years ago and he filed alone, this time my family is filing together.

but ill look more into the proof of ties to the country thing.

my brother is not required to have an interview since hes younger than 13 years old, but will a letter from his school stating hes a student might help?

and my parents are still paying mortgage, will that prove more ties to the country?

I have a mortgage and moved here 11 years ago.

Low fraud country does not seem a major issue.

Those two, school letter and mortgage, aren't particularly strong ties, but they couldn't hurt as supplements to other documents that show ties to home.
