There are no appointments for the medical examination that I am aware of. Its first come, first served. Clinic opens each morning at 6 a.m. Monday through Friday. Have her show up early as she will have to queue in line outside the clinic. I would suggest getting there NLT 5 a.m. The lines can get pretty long.

Once the doors open the security guard attending the entrance will have them enter single file in the order they queued in line, handing each a preprinted number. Once inside she will wait for her number to be called and will proceed to the U.S. counter.

At the U.S. counter, she will be given instructions on what is to do and where to go. Suggest you visit the slec.ph website. Top left hand corner of the homepage on the site, look under US IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICANTS. There is a lot of information regarding the medical examination process. It has flow-charts that will show how things will go for her on day 1 and day 2. Some people get their medical done in 1 day but for most people it takes 2 days. So I would suggest that she NOT go on Friday for her first day just in case it takes her 2 days (which if that happens it would require her to come back on Monday for her 2nd day).

Make sure you check the website for any clinic closures due to holidays. The next day holiday closure is August 31st. All holidays are posted on the slec.ph website.

If she can, have her fill out the online registration form and print 2 copies to take with her to the examination. This will be a time saver for her if she can have that completed before she gets to the clinic. But not to worry, if she doesn't have it, they will have her fill it out at the clinic.
