Form I-693 AOS after K1

Hi guys, I'm having trouble clarifying an answer for this. I've looked at a few threads but wanted to be sure.

I was just wondering about the form I-693 for the adjustment of status after a k1. I had my medical done on Monday, my K1 interview is Friday. I am just looking ahead to the AOS process and wondering if I need to have the civil surgeon fill out this new form I-693 before I go home from Montreal, Canada (the Montreal US consulate is basically across the country from where I live in Canada) and I just want to be proactive.

I assume that in my sealed medical packet they include the ds-2053 but will that be enough proof for my AOS package? All of my vaccinations were up to date and I understand I will not need another full medical, etc. I am planning on making my POE just days after my approved visa, and then we plan to get married just days after that, so I will definitely be in the time frame! I hope I'm making sense, I just don't want to have to come back to Montreal to have the new form filled out by the civil surgeon since it's such a long and expensive flight for me, and I am here right now anyway.

Also, I pick up my medical results on Thursday, but should I call them tomorrow (Wednesday) and ask if they can make me copies for myself to keep?

We did not go a CS and submitted the DS 3025 along with these instructions: Green Card in hand with no RFE!

3. What if I am a K nonimmigrant visa holder and already had a medical exam overseas?

If you were admitted as a:

a. K-1 fiancé(e) or a K-2 child of a K-1 fiancé(e); or as a

b. K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen or a K-4 child of a K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen; and

c. You received a medical examination prior to admission, then:

(1) You are not required to have another medical examination as long as your Form I-485 is filed within one year of your overseas medical examination, and the medical examination did not reveal a Class A medical condition, or if you did have a Class A medical condition, you received a waiver of inadmissibility and have complied with the terms and conditions on the waiver.

(2) Even if a new medical examination is not required, you must still show proof that you complied with the vaccination requirements. If the vaccination record (DS 3025) was not properly completed and included as part of the original overseas medical examination report, you will have to have the vaccination report completed by a designated civil surgeon. In this case, you are required to submit the vaccination record and page 1 of Form I-693.

No, I do not believe that you will get a copy of your medical results for yourself (except for the copy of the DS-3025). You might get a CD of your chest x-ray which people have used as a really nice drink coaster/souvenir.

Thank you Stevephoto! I think that helps me a lot. I received my copy of my DS-3025 today so I assume that is all that is required for my future AOS! Can't wait for my coaster... Lol!
