I had the same case for my wife I filed for her on June 2nd 2014 .after we arrived to dijibouti I went to the us embassy for help but they said I have to contact uscis 2 days later I made a phone call to the uscis . I did the expedite request .30 days later I recived a letter from them .it said they will let me know with in 60 days . On September 12 I recived a notice it said my case is approved for the expedite and they said they contact me with in 30 days for further details. October 9 2015 I recived a interview notice on October 19 2015 and it's said on it they need my spouse with me I got confused because my wife never ben to the is before .so I flew to the on the 15 from dijibouti to us .I went on the 19th to my local office in new Orleans Louisiana for my interview. I explained to the officer about my wife never ben to the us she said it was a mistake. She was nice to me when she was interviewing me . At the end she told me my case is approve .

So my advice to your is call uscis for expedite and keep calling them every five days that's what i did
