Nvc put my fiancé name wrong in computer

So I called today to check if my petition had been updated and put in the computer when I called the number showed up but the name for my fiancé was wrong and the nice man on the phone told me it was not what I told him and I told him my fiancé has no other names . He told me that it was a mistake on there behalf and I should send a copy of his passport . Has this happened to anyone else .glad I caught the mistake before it got it sent out and the man was nice enough to call me to tell me what to put in email subject as priority mail

how is it wrong? mispelled name or names are swapped or what? My fiancees name was spelled wrong and at the interview we just made your the embassy had the name properly for the visa.

He told me the name is completely different in the computer wouldn't tell me it cause he couldn't I guess . But if I got a approved noa2 with his name on it how could another name be on it so weird . They told me within 3 days they would fix it as I emailed them what they needed
