Hello everyone,

I am here to ask for help.

USCIS received my i-130, AP, EAD and I-485 on May 18th. I applied for the green card through marriage. I did my fingerprints in early June. Then I received an initial RFE regarding my I-485. USCIS received my response on July 7th.When the 90 days was coming, my ead and AP still weren't approved. So I called USCIS asking about my EAD status. They put a service request for me. However, the response was that I have to wait another 90 days since I got an RFE for my I-485. It really made me upset. I've been staying at home for a long time and doing nothing. My husband has to keep working hard and take a lot of extra hours work to make sure we can pay all the bills. And at the same time he still has to pay his student loan. We're stressed and really wish that I could get my EAD so I can start to work. Right now for another two weeks it will be 2 months since we responded to USCIS.

I'm wondering can I do something to ask for my EAD now? Or just wait until the September 7th comes? I'm so worried that USCIS wouldn't give me any response in another two weeks. If they really don't respond to it, should I ask for our congressman for help?

I'm so stressed. Please help me. Any advice will work. Thanks.

Yes 90 days will be over on October 7th. But after 60 days if I still don't get any update for I-485. I can call to ask.

I think you can do a service request since you didn't receive any rfe.
