Questions on NOA2 and Embassy in Cuba

Hi there I have several questions which I am sure have been asked prior but I swear and I will always state this in my posts I have the most difficult time trying to navigate through older posts for some reason and can never find my answers.

1. NOA2 came through but my fiance's name they put one of his last names as his middle initial. Example his correct name First name John Last name Doe Smith. On the NOA2 it says John D. Smith. - what do I need to do to get this corrected.

2A. Is there a way to track the package without having to call NVC? What number to do give when calling to check to see if a case number was issued or whatever it is that is issued? 2B. I saw a link to check but since Cuba doesn't have an embassy "at least not yet in the computer systems" how can one check on it?

3. Since the embassy is now opened - does anyone know if there are going to be changes on how this process works, example change in centers to go to for interviews and so on so forth?

Sorry for the questions - feeling a little lost

I couldn't track anything either. My fiance's interview is Sept 21 too. I'm quite curious if the process will be different now that it is an official embassy.

At some point along the way, I came across this phone number: 786-408-5995. I believe it's Visa Support out of Miami. They actually helped me set up an online account that allowed me to move the process along more quickly. Try calling them for help on the name change and the package.
