http://www.sfgate.com/news/article/Black-women-humiliated-after-getting-kicked-6460912.php?cmpid=twitter-desktop

What started as a joyous ride through wine county Saturday afternoon turned into a “humiliating” experience for 11 African American women, who said they were booted off the Napa Valley Wine Train for laughing and talking too loud.
Accounts and pictures of the episode have been spreading across social media, spawning the hashtag #LaughingWhileBlack while the women involved have questioned whether they would have been treated differently if they were not African American.
“It was humiliating. I’m really offended to be quite honest,” said 47-year-old Lisa Johnson, who was among Saturday’s group. “I felt like it was a racist attack on us. I feel like we were being singled out.”

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Quite honestly, black folks can be too loud...Not many people can entertain such noise. People should learn to know when something is appropriate and when it isn't...oh well

Why yes, because we know white people never get loud.

I am not talking about white people.

It wasn't like white and black people were loud and they went after black people.

Have you been to a movie theater with majority black folks? Girl, bye!

Black people are loud and that is a fact . Even most normal black folks don't wanna be around loud black people. Either on the bus, in the park,on the plane, nowhere.

Actually it's not a fact. It's your opinion.

I've been to a movie theater with tons of black people and watched the movie without having to strain my ears. People are people, some are loud, others aren't. All this generalization is just ridiculous.

Edit: What's a normal black person? Are they abnormal black people I don't know about?

So you acknowledged that "some are loud". That makes my point partly true.

I was hoping for you explain your first comment. You don't like generalization but did you forget to read first comment?

I intentionally said black people are loud without qualifying it with the word ALL. You took the bait but forgot you had made similar comment..lol.

You can try justify bad behavior all you want but when it comes with repercussions, you will be dealing with on your own.

I would bet that someone might have asked them to tone it down but no one say nothing to some black folks.

Normal black are pleasant to be around, they are not obnoxious, loud which just sums up "ghetto" attitude.

I am not referring to ghetto as the neighborhood but the attitude.

I lived in a ghetto :)

How does it? There are groups of people who are loud from all races. It's not exclusive to black people. If you haven't seen it, get out more.

I was responding to your comment in the same way. And please tell me where I justified bad behavior? I did no such thing.

So, do you do the same thing for other races? Normal white people? Normal Asians? Or is this pertaining to just SOME black people?

 I would like to suggest dog tags please. "normal black people" and "abnormal black people." This is so the normal people can differentiate the two.

You justified it by saying that white people do it too.

That is how you justified it. When something is wrong, it is wrong. Stop trying to compare ignorance to make little of a situation.

Like I said before, not everyone was behaving the way they did. And when they were treated according to their behavior, now they feel humiliated. That's the problem. Don't act "different" and cry foul when you are treated "differently".That is life.

I am all for racial equality but this is pure ignorance.

Would it make you feel better if I responded affirmative to your last question?

Actually, I was trying to be respectful to other people including myself who get lumped into this ghetto stereotypes because of some folks and the good ones sometimes either defend it or say nothing.

Normal as in how normal people behave. does it answer your question?

Didn't justify it, just pointed out it's not only black people that are loud. As a black man, I get caught up by just showing up. But I find your comment odd that you intentionally tried to trip me up. But oh well. To each is own. Had you said getting loud without using race, your message would have come across more clearly.

Partly true and mostly false

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.

I understand you but did read the content of the post.

Those women made it racial. I didn't. They felt they were treated that way because they are black and asserted that white people would have received different treatment under the same circumstances.

I am not one to denounce discrimination but in this situation where they were been too loud to the point of being kicked out. I would bet that they were told to tone done before it escalated to that point.

I never said ALL black people behave this way but we seem to be the ones that excuse such behaviors by saying white people do it too.

Your statement: Quite honestly, black folks can be too loud. That's how I read it. As for the incident, I don't know, maybe others were loud and only they were targeted. Or maybe someone complained about them. Since neither of us was there, who's to say.

By not saying some, your statement was construed by me as all. That's why I tend to try and differentiate.

Wait wait.

11? Eleven? Couldn't they have chartered one of the train cars? I've done that before, on that exact train-line.
