Questions regarding AOS - NVC

Hello,

As for the supporting documents for NVC.

1) Do I need a job letter and paystubs or just one of them will do? I can get both but paystubs its easier to get as I can print them out myself.

2) Does the address on my supporting documents have to match the address what is reported on my petition? My W2s, pay stubs, IRS taxes and other documents have my mailing address but my petition was filed with my permanent address. Will they question the mismatch of addresses when checking supporting documents?

Sorry for question 2 I mean't financial documents for AOS have my mailing address not supporting documents.

send your last 3 years tax transcripts, or your last 3 years complete tax return and W2

then also include the most recent 6 months of paystubs, i did not include a job letter

i do not believe they will question the address miss match and if it were me I would not worry about that

I recently send documents only included last 4 paystubs, I get paid weekly and paystub shows current & year to date...I hope I don't get a checklist...

Holy cow!? According to the I-864 Form the only required submission for taxes was the most recent year and sending in the last three years is optional. Is that not the case? Ahhhhhhhh.

I sent only current year. My fear was that if they have too many papers , it will be more confusing.

I didn't send any pay stubs. only transcripts.

The OP is going through the same embassy as me, which is known to be a tricky one. In this case it is best to make the strongest all around case as possible. The form says only the most current year is needed, but it would go a long way to have all 3 years if it is possible.

I appreciate the reply. In that case, I'll send them a job letter, w2s, tax returns and pay stubs. Knowing how Islamabad "bad" embassy might operate.
