Sponsor and Address

Hi my name is jonathan, 20 years old in college,

My fiancee Johanaa lives in the dominican republic and im fillin out the I-129F petition to bring her. due to the fact that imin college i have not been able to go ahead and work, so her unlce that resides in Boston has agreed to be my co-sponsor in this case. thank god. My paresnt couldnt be the sponsors just because they file the income tax, as married and they make below the poverty level so is no good. nw the second thing is that where they ask where will we be living i placed her fathers address here in manhattan. Because when she comes we are planning to move, but i cant place an immaginary address, so basically i will place his until we move.

Now my worries is that since her uncle is being the sponsor and im placing her fathers address as place of where we will live at, do you think the USCIS or counsul will believe this is some sort of " fixed" or " arranged" marriage, because honestly it is not and we are very much in love. Im just afraid the will denie it because they MIGHT think.

You are worrying unnecessarily. The sponsor can live anywhere in the U.S. and has nothing to do with where you will be living.

You can use her Dad's address as the address where you will be living, and then you can just do a change of address after you move into your own place.

Just remember that if the sponsor (her uncle) moves, he will have to provide a change of address (Form I-864, I believe) to let USCIS know where he lives.

SO i should not worry abou them thinking is a fixed marriage, since is her uncle helping meand we will move in with her father?

because from what i have herd, ths consul does find out about your life orthe USCIS, like they go around the town yourfiancee lives in and find out in their own ways.

I think you are worrying ahead of time since the affidavit of support isn't yet required.

Since it is also a long time to the visa interview for you, you can work on straightening out your finances well ahead of time. The affidavit of support is not required until the visa interview.

No need to worry IMO as everyone else said. Besides, I-134 or I-865 is not needed until your interview.
