Just a General Inquiry :whistle:

I rang NVC ON FRIDAY 16TH FEB AND NVC SAID,

THEY FINISHED WITH OUR I-130,(CR1/IR1).

ON MONDAY FEB 12TH,

AND WHERE SENDING IT TO SYDNEY CONSULATE. :dance:

MY QUESTION IS WHAT TIME FRAME AM I LOOKING AT,

TO WHEN I SHOULD RECIEVE THE PAPERWORK FROM SYDNEY CONSULATE,

INCLUDING MEDICAL INSTRUCTIONS,(I DOWNLOADED THEM ALREADY).

IS IT USUALLY A CALENDAR MONTH BETWEEN WHEN I PHYSICALLY RECIEVING PAPERWORK,

TO WHEN MY INTERVIEW WILL BE IN SYDNEY?

ANY INPUT WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Congratulations :) Hopefully someone going through Sydney, or someone from your regional forum can help with the time frame question.

NOA1: 5-10-2006----updated w/ citizenship: 9-25-06----had to call back 10/25, touch 10/26

12/06/06 - Approved!- - - 12/08/06 - Touch---01/25/07 - Touch

I130 at NVC

12/14/06 - case number assigned

12/25/06 - DS3032 & AOS Fee Bill Mailed (phone system updated 12/27)

12/27/06 - emailed choice of agent; 12/29/06 - received email from NVC confirming choice of agent!

01/01/07 - NVC generated IV Fee Bill (postmarked 1/17 though!)

01/03/07 - returned AoS Fee Bill via Priority Mail (James' shortcut)

01/15/07 - NVC generated AOS package

01/22/07 - received IV Fee Bill - overnighted back to NVC same day

01/27/07 - recieved I864 package; 01/29/07 - overnighted I864 to NVC

01/29/07 - DS230 generated (phone system not updated, email response 2/5/07)

02/05/07 - mailed DS-230 to NVC via express mail

02/20/07 - CASE COMPLETE!!

04/18/07 - INTERVIEW!!!! - APPROVED!!!!

09/28/06 - NOA1

1/25/07 - approved ...NOA2 via snail mail - 1/29/07

03/16/07 - chose not to return packet 3 to Montreal

YAY to Hampster and Northern Girl!!!! Congratulations!!! :thumbs:

We did the K1 and I know it is different but the time frame from NVC to the consulate and then interview should be fairly similar...so ours was....

NVC to Consulate and pkt 3 received - 13days

Pkt3 was sent from consulate 6 days after leaving NVC

Pkt3 to Pkt4 - 18days

Pkt4 to Interview date - 26days

04 June 07: GOT A JOB!!

16 June 07: Wedding Reception in San Francisco

25 December 07: First white Christmas EVER!!!!

27 Apr 08: First Wedding Anniversary

4 July 08: Mt Rushmore for 4th July

27 April 09: Second Wedding Anniversary

06/18/07 - DS-3032 (Choice of Agent) & AOS (I-864) Fee Bill generated

06/23/07 - Recv'd DS-3032 & AOS Bill via snail mail

07/09/07 - Emailed DS-3032 (Choice of Agent) to NVC

07/19/07 - Mailed AOS Fee Bill ($70) to St. Louis, MO

07/19/07 - Recv'd email from NVC - Choice of Agent was accepted

My timeline for CR-1

04-04-2006 Case Complete at NVC

04-11-2006 Automated Phone Service states case mailed to Embassy

04-14-2006 Date they actually mailed it to Embassy via DHL

04-18-2006 Arrived and signed for at Embassy

04-20-2006 Packet 4 sent by Embassy

04-26-2006 Packet 4 Received by hubby in the US (how stupid is that when I am in Sydney)

06-05-2006 INTERVIEW

I would say good chance that Sydney has yours already. I checked DHL site for cases that were sent out to Sydney around that time. Found it easy as there isn't that many.
