It was very easy to schedule an appointment, all you have to do is just email them and they are able to accommodate any appointment requests very well. I had my interview scheduled for Tuesday, August 11th at 2:45pm.

I had to drive in from out of town, so I had to find a place to park. I heard that there was a parking lot across the steer but there is a lot of constriction going on so I didn't find it. I ended up going around the block and parking on Melgund Rd really close to the medical centre. There were signs saying that it's 1 hour parking only but I didn't get a ticket and other cars were there before me and stayed longer than I did so I guess it's not too strictly enforced.

You need to go up to the third floor to get to the office of Dr Mascarenhas. I got there at 1:30pm just in case and right away they took my documents ( 1 passport photo, record of vaccinations and passport) and had me go downstairs to the first floor to get the chest X-ray. It look maybe 5 minutes and then I was back to the third floor waiting to see the doctor. I was sitting in the waiting room for maybe 10 minutes and then they brought me into one of the "examination" rooms. I waited there for around 10 minutes also until Dr Mascarenhas came in. The chat with him took 5 minutes, he just asked me if I was healthy and such and took my blood pressure. I also gave him the $300 and the $50 courier fee for my paperwork to be sent back to me. He then told me to go across the street to get my blood taken.

It was a very quick walk to get the blood work done and it was a short wait after I got there. After getting my blood taken I was all done and it was 2:30pm, much earlier than my 2:40pm appointment time. I don't know if they do this all the time but from my experience it seems like you can show up early if you can and have the whole thing done quicker.

I received my results via Purolator Express on Tuesday, August 18th, so it took exactly one week. Overall it was a pretty quick and painless experience, so I would recommend getting your medical done here if it's convenient for you.

Good to know!

I will be heading there tomorrow to get mine done. I'm nervous and also pretty stoked.

For the letter with the Name, Case Number & Interview Date, were they talking about the confirmation e-mail from when you scheduled your interview?

I brought with me the confirmation email that had all of the information, my MTL number and the interview date. I think that's what you need, but I'm not 100% sure because they never asked to see it. They did want my registration #, which is the 3 digit number that you get after registering for them online.

Don't be nervous, it's a breeze!

I think we are interview buddies.

I will go to Dr. Lyndon on 9th, and pick up the results on my way to Montreal on 15th.

That's awesome, it's coming up so soon! I'm also driving up to Montreal on the 15th.
