I'm starting to get nervous, got my case number last Thursday, and my petition still is at NVC. Anyone know what can potentially be holding it up? Those of you who have been sent to embassy already, how many days did it take? I've heard that NVC sends to a particular embassy once a week, so hopefully it's Thursday for Dublin, as that can be the explanation .

I got our case number on Sept 7 and the status changed to in transit on Sept 10, so it was quite fast for us. Hope they send your petition soon!

We received our case number on Tuesday, do people think I am OK to schedule a medical for a couple of weeks time? Looking at timescales that seems like it should be at the embassy in London by then but wondering what other people have done?

Our petition arrived at the embassy on the 18th we have submitted everything and we chose to do the medical a on the 29th. So far once he has completed that we will wait for pkt 4. I've read about ppl doing their things early and it worked out fine. I wish we would have decided to do the medicals this week so that next week the wait could began but it's cool.

I received NOA2 last week on 9/22. Will TSC be sending a notification when they ship to NVC?

It took 189 days to approve the NOA2. About how how many weeks does it take them to put in an envelope?

I finally got notice of our approval tonight! I'm so happy. They received my response to the RFE on 9/11 and I was starting to get bummed out that it was taking so long to hear back from them. I'm so excited to start the next phase of the process.

At this point I'd be happy if my case got transferred out of Texas. Aproaching 7 months since NOA1 and nothing yet. It seems the TSC has significantly slowed down from about 3 weeks ago. about 3-4 petitions were being approved a day and now lucky if there is 1, from Igor's list anyway.

Congrats to all those who have been approved so far.

I have NOA1 date March 17th and have heard nothing. I have called and they know nothing. They just tell me they are behind. My question is, why do I see petitions from 2-3 months ago approved, but march petitions are still below 50% approval. Is there another contact phone number to check on status?

Thanks,

Ridiculous indeed, my NOA1 is March 4. I dont' want this to become another TSC flaming thread though, there's enough of those.

So they send out ther NOA2 notifications/emails at night? Seems a little odd, but good to know.

Usually less than a week to ship to NVC, but it varies. i don't think we were ever notified. You can keep checking the uscis case tracker, it will update once they've sent it! It changes to 'Your case was sent to the Department of State', or something along those lines.

So we were received in consulate yesterday, and having all documents in order, my fiance sent his readiness and they responded with an interview date of October 19th. He had scheduled his medical for October 14th. Well, later he received a call from the consulate saying they needed to cancel his interview... he needed to have medical results in hand before he sent his readiness! This is the first we heard about that. I suggested he schedule medical as soon as he received his case number, but he thought he needed to wait for packet 3. Now we wait an additional at least 3 weeks :(.Just an FYI for anyone else going through Dublin. Schedule your medical as soon as you get to NVC, because DUB does not even require the case number to schedule it. Just keep in mind the medical is now only good for 6 months there.
