Just got an update my interview is scheduled on Dec 22nd ?

My interview is scheduled on December 3rd.

So excited!! I just got an update that I've been scheduled for an interview on Dec 15!!!

Your priority date seems like it would be close to mine, so I think you EAD shouldn't be too far from being approved. Sometimes the approvals don't go in order, they can be a bit crazy. If you haven't

Congrats everyone!!! I hope we hear something soon! All of a sudden everyone is getting theirs schedules and our updates are:

- Sep 12 case is ready to be scheduled for an interview

- On July 30 we have received your I-130....

On the side note: I have my work authorization and started a new job :) yay :)

I am confused though if I needed to get a new social (current one says "valid for work with DHS authorization only") since I can't have my name changed until after I get the green card right? Or did I need to change it to say something different on it? Thank you!

Just had my interview today (Milwaukee office) and green card was approved! Officer said green card should arrive in 2-4 weeks. Very laid back interview, really friendly guy, we talked about him as much as we talked about us! He only asked to see our passports for ID, and then asked for my I-693, as I hadn't sent it in ahead of time. Then he asked some very basic questions about ourselves, and didn't ask us any questions about each other. We were probably in there for 15 minutes or so, but only because we were having such a nice conversation with him. Hopefully green card will arrive without any problem, and with luck before Christmas!
Good luck to everyone else approaching the end of their journeys, and many thanks to everyone on this forum! This forum made it sooooo much easier to get through all the steps. Thank you all!!!!

Im in San Antonio and No updates yet. Priority Date is August 14, and last I485 update was on September 28 that RFE documents had been received and our case was being worked on again.

Judefabolous can you post a list of the documents you will be taking to the interview? I don't know what else to present, I couldn't be add to my hubby medical insurance, or car because anyway I don't know how to drive.
