HI, sorry I can't offer you advice but by bumping up your post maybe someone will answer! Try posting in the South Asia forum too.

Is there any way your wife could contact the doc or hospital where she received the vaccinations? Some vaccinations are not necessary after a certain age (like polio) so she does not need to show records of those, I don't think.

Actually vaccinations are NOT necessary to get the visa. However, I hear that the doc needs proof of them during AOS in USA. So best to get it done there.

My fiance has no idea what vaccinations he got when he was younger, and neither does his mother. So he's just getting the necessary ones done again.

My wife had her medical done at Breach Candy Hospital on 21st Feb. She didn't have any old vaccination records with her. This is perfectly OK. She was given MMR vaccine/shots and she cleared the medical checkup without any problems.

7:30am - Went to Breach Candy Hospital

8:00 am - registeration

9:00 am - blood test, vaccinations, x-ray

10:30am - medical checkup

3:00pm - reports given.

when you go to the medical you dont need to take anything with you.

a week or so after the medical youll need to go pick up an envelope from them. its sealed and you cant open it. you need to take that to the interview.

thats all you need.

they dont want any proof of vaccinations.

what they do at the medical is take blood, and test your blood for rxn to the diseases. they can tell if you have immune response to the disease or not. no immune reponse could mean no vaccination, but could also mean needing a booster.

the medical is actually to make sure your immune to all the diseases that they dont want to be in the US.

hope this helps
