Hi, I have been pricing plane tickets for my fiance from Peru to the U.S., and I have found that they are really expensive (like 1500 or more for a one-way ticket) and also really long. But the only website I know to search planes that leave from Peru is this one:

http://www.lan.com/index.html

Does anyone know any other sites where I can get cheaper tickets that leave from Peru?

Thanks,

Sara

Hi Sara

One way tickets are always more expensive... It will be less expensive to buy a roundtrip ticket.

You can try American Airlines.......... www.aa.com

Delta Airlnes................ www.delta.com

Copa Airlines................. www.copa.com

American flys to Miami from Lima

Delta flys to Altanta from Lima

Copa flys to Miami from Lima with a stop in Panama City, Panama

I can tell you that LAN changes their prices like every 4 to 5 days. We are going to Lima next week. When I looked for tickets on LAN in January they were very expensive. Then 2 weeks ago their price reduced by nearly $200.00

Prices do vary by time of year. American Airlines also flies to Peru. I take it from Miami. One way tickets are more expensive than 2-way, so try checking on the cheapest 2-way ticket.

You can also try www.kayak.com , it is a search engine for air tickets. If you are in the States and want a roundtrip to Peru (or almost any other country in the world) you can try www.skyauction.com very good deals if you know when to stop your bidding (my husband uses kayak.com for that).

Good luck

You can try any other different airlines..are more cheap than Lan..you can try looking into expedia...that's one choice or if not try to get into the webpage of www.ohperu.com and find out Airlines..it will show you all the web pages that you can try to look for a cheaper ticket. A great alternativa is Delta.

In addition to Lan, American Airlines and Delta, also try

Jet Blue and Spirit Airlines..

I also found that at times one way tickets are more expensive than round trip. It may cost you less for a round trip ticket and have her skip out on the return. I did that with my wife for her flight from Colombia to the US.
