Does the message that I recieved below mean they have come to a decision....or are they still processing and I still have loads of time to wait before the decision comes?

This stuff is just too confusing!!!

Hi i'm actually not filing the same case, but my case said something similar to this affect. Basically this is your 1st notice of action. You have to wait that long to get your 2nd NOA. Once you get your 2nd, it should be approved/denied.

I swear, they never make these messages clear. I believe they are saying that it won't take 180 days for your case to be processed because they had already done the preliminary work and you supplemented the last bit that you needed.

Therefore, they will probably issue you a notice of action that they're working on the case... Maybe they'll even give you an interview date? Not sure.

I think it means what every notice from USCIS means: We are requred to provide you with a notice and wish to remain as noncommital as possible. Thank you and have a nice day.

We actually did recieve our NOA1 on January 24th. So i'm guessing this will be the NOA2 or an approval??

It means they have recieved the RFE and proccessing has resumed on your case.... as they have already done some of the proccessing it wont take the full time stated to be ready for interview.....

2MTHS AFTer receiving this letter, we received another telling us to go do more bios the following mth bcz they have expired... Then we got an interview notice..

So, expect to have an interview letter in 4 mths..

He still hasn't recieved an appointment for the biometrics, only a letter telling us we'd be recieving another letter with the appointment.
