Do I have to pay any cost for fingerprints.. If yes then is it in USD or inr

Do they allow phone inside ofc facility in Delhi

I dont think you have to pay anything. (The $420 IV we paid at NVC probably covers this too).

Check with Paro about OFC facility. I think her hubby already completed biometrics. His interview is this week.

Thanks Kierenhby, I think the confusion was coming from that P4 does not state any mention of it and the link I posted also did not but looks like this is the process going forward. We are from delhi so my wife can take the appointment on any day before the interviw

An immigrant visa applicant must schedule and complete a Biometrics appointment. Go to ustraveldocs, create an account, and schedule a Category 1 appointment. Without prior fingerprinting, applicant may be refused entry into the embassy day of interview.

I believe Dwheels also addressed your question in the october interview thread.

PS: if applicant lives in delhi, schedule a time that's convenient, else if living outside of delhi, schedule biometrics a day prior to interview.

Hi All,

We have submitted D's 260 and mailed the aos and iv documents nvc and now we are waiting for nvc to complete the case

Please correct me if I am wrong but once nvc case is completed I will receive interview letter. Right?

Okay so my questions are:

1) will I be getting separate email for medical or do I need to book for medical once I will get interview letter.what are the docs required for medical

2) will I be getting separate email for ofc? If not then by when shall I schedule it...what are the docs required ?

Thanks

No.. once nvc case complete, wait begins till interview slots open up; Delhi wait times can be as long as 2-3 months after cc.

For other questions, please review this thread. Suggest starting around page 6 onwards. Related posts are recent and a quick read.

It is the 4th then. Thank you for help TeJOGB. There are few other things if readers can shed some light, please:

  1. Our AOS Form I-864EZ with 2014 tax returns was accepted at the NVC without issue (there is no co-sponsor); however, the P4 letter says "Bring updated Federal income tax information to the interview. If ... ...to visa interview." Although, we are taking our copy of submitted I-864EZ with us, would you recommend taking revised (new) I-864 to the interview as well? In other words, what does "Bring updated Federal income tax..." specify?
  2. Can we take our wedding album (hard bind with 11" x 17" sheets) to the interview as a proof of relationship or a few loose pictures of us?
  3. If anyone has experience dealing with Max Super Specialty Hospital, Mohali, Punjab:
  • Do they mail the reports directly to NWD embassy or they hand it over to the applicant for interview?
  • How long does it take to get the reports once you are scheduled for medical at Mohali?

Your feedback is appreciated.

  • Do they mail the reports directly to NWD embassy or they hand it over to the applicant for interview? - they tell you when to pick up the reports
  • How long does it take to get the reports once you are scheduled for medical at Mohali? --- 5-7 business days.

Agree with KierenHby - it does not cost to get fingerprinting. It does state on the website as well. I don't have the link handy but I can confirm that it does not require additional payment.
